Gabriel: The Accidental Poet

imagesYesterday evening, mournfully picking at the dinner he manifestly did not want to eat, Gabriel channeled his inner
Margot Tenebaum and gave voice to this melancholy musing. An accidental poem.

“Gym lights make me sad.

They flicker and flicker but never go all the way on.

They never get all the way bright.

Gym lights make people’s skin look sick and queasy.

It’s like they need a friend.

But they’re too high up and too far away

For a friend to reach them.” photo
