  1. Jason, we praise God for this and will continue in the years ahead to pray that this horrible disease will be kept at bay and that you will be free from its effects. We all love you so very much. Now please come back and preach. 🙂

    • Jason,

This is Sandy & Andy Kedjierski . I have been following you and think about you often. Found a wonderful church here in Sunny Florida and have been here since 2010 when Andy retired from Army. I don’t know if you know , but we had another child after David was born. A daughter and she is now 5 years old (kindergarten) now. David is 7 years old now. 2nd grade. God is good and delivers his “good” news on his time, not ours. Looks like you just got some incredible “good” news.
      So happy for you!!! Sandy

  2. Merry Christmas!
    Praise be to God.
It’s wonderful to be NERD (No Evidence of Recurrence Disease)

We all love you and Ali and the boys – Heres to a healthy and amazing 2016!

  4. I truly am happy for you and your family. I thank God for this wonderful thing.

  5. Praise the Lord!!! (and your doctors). Our prayers have been answered. We look forward to having you back after the Christmas holidays.

  6. Sweeet.

  7. Congratulations Jason – as scary as the letter sounds, the upside is obviously awesome 🙂 When you first started writing about this your blog entries made it sound like you were a-goner, with no possibility of a reprieve. But God has granted you at the very least, a reprieve, and maybe much more than that. I’m glad I get to keep reading new entries from you – keep em coming. 🙂 Have a great holiday too. Get a puppy. Plan a vacation. Do some awesome stuff.
Blessings to you and I’m celebrating with you. 🙂

  8. I can only imagine what you felt when you heard the news–joy, relief, worry, anticipation. I praise God for his answer to so many prayers. I look forward to you just showing up–a regular routine ain’t bad. Merry Christmas.

  9. Praise God! Hallelujah! Amen! Oh, Jason and Ali, Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

  10. Wonderful news! Do you know what “reasonable work schedule” means? Tell that boss of yours to keep you in line! ( I should probably say “bosses”)

  11. “Jason Micheli is a 38-year old who is currently keenly needed in full-time ministry.” The best Adventen news we could hope for – an incarnate blessing. Praise be to God.

  12. Jason,
Your wonderful report is the best birthday present I could have ever received today. Thank you for sharing your GREAT NEWS … you just made my day!!!😃

Enjoy and Merry Christmas to you and your incredible family.

  13. Jason,
This is absolutely GREAT news! I, too, recently had a biopsy and learned this week to be cancer free. However, what I was facing doesn’t even compare to what you’ve been through and are still facing. You’ve been in our prayers and we continue to pray for you and family.

    Enjoy the holidays!!

Jason, Ali and Boys…Woo-Hoo! Can only imagine the happy dances going on at the Micheli house this joyous season! Rejoice!

  15. Great New! Praise God! Two things: VCS’s letterhead is larger than the body of their letter and I find that humorous. Who gets to decide “a reasonable work schedule”? Hopefully you and your SPRC will find something reasonable. Good luck and God bless you in your continued healing and ministry.

  16. TEARS OF JOY!!!!! AND RELIEF! AND PRAISE TO OUR FATHER!!! Merry, joyeux noel! God with us. He is. He is. He is. I expect graphic reports of vigorous celebrating and chandelier swinging from the Micheli clan!! Much, much love Jesus, Caroline xo

  17. Wonderful!

  18. Praise God! We have been following along with you on your blog our here in California. We are a Navy family who lived in Alexandria and attended Aldersgate. Big fans. You’ve been on the prayer list we keep on the front of our fridge. Thrilled for you and your family. Happy, happy news. Merry Christmas!

  19. Just shows…bad things don’t always happen to grouchy people!

    Our prayer’s have been answered!

What a way to celebrate Christmas, end the old year and welcome the new one. We praise God for God’s grace!

  22. Praise God! All I can say is ‘AMEN’ to all the happy comments made by others already. You know you and your family will remain in my daily prayers for as long as needed….(Do you think I can stop waking up at 3 AM to pray now, and just pray during the day?!)
Merry Christmas, and may God continue to bless you and hold you close….and the New Year be filled with GOOD reports.

  23. This is really wonderful news. Thank you for sharing it.

  24. By the grace of God!! Your good news is our blessing. Looking forward to seeing you in church!!

  25. Great news. Joan and I are happy for you and your family and pray the cancer stays in remission. Bob O
